Sampler Guild of the Rockies Party

This past Sunday (Dec. 9) was the Sampler Guild of the Rockies, meeting which included a Holiday Tea and as little business as possible. Each table was hosted by someone and they brought a tea setting for 8 along with a center piece and any decorations they wanted to add. I sat at a table with a lovely Lenox holly setting.

At our place setting was a cute little bag of peppermint bark candy and a wooden candy cane.

There were door prizes, but I was not one of the three at our table to win one, so no photos. But we all got a make it and take it kit that made into a scissors case. We could choose red, blue or green. I chose green and finished it up the same night. The top photo shows it open and the bottom has it closed over the black bead to keep it shut.

The lunch table was full of all kinds of finger sandwiches, scones, lemon and apricot curds and all kinds of yummy dessert. We had a very tasty cinnamon tea to go with it. It was a lot of fun!
