Once of my friends on Facebook (FB) made this suggestion and I thought it was a great idea, so I posted it on my FB page: "2013 Creative Pay It Forward: The first five of my friends to comment will receive a random gift from me sometime during the year...maybe something handcrafted, maybe a book, baked goodies, a surprise! Your gift will arrive whenever the mood strikes me without warning. Here's the only requirement: You have to post this on your wall as well and commit do doing the same for five of your friends. Please message me with your address if I don't already have it."
I got 5 people to comment and agree to re-post and do the same. I got to thinking why not promote this in blog land too, and you don't have to be one of the 5 people to comment to carry it on either.
So here goes my attempt in blog land. Sorry you must have a blog to participate.
The first 5 people to comment on my blog and then post a link to their blog doing the same Creative Pay it Forward will get a random gift from me sometime during the year. If you are one of those first 5 please include an email address I can contact you at if your blog does not have that information. Thanks. Also I give you permission to copy and paste any of my words in this post if it will help you with your blog post.
Since I have comment moderation on, I will keep checking the comments more often than normal until I get the 5 participants. But, if you see 5 comments, still check them out since not all may be participating.
If you are not fast enough to comment, please consider doing a Pay if Forward on your blog anyway, we should start the year out on a fun positive note!
Happy New Year, Carol! I look forward to seeing your stitching and how much snow you get!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on FB myself. It's a great idea! I'm in.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Pay it Forward is wonderful :) This what I had wanted people to do with my Advent Contest on blog. Glad someone else is joining in. It is a happy fun thing to do.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea and hope that others catch on too. Sure miss seeing you in Raleigh but reading your blog entries you seem to be so happy in CO. Happy New Year.
