Here is another progress report on the band sampler from Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly magazine (2012). It is being presented in three parts as I told you about here. The very top band (name of original stitcher) is rolled up and hidden. I am 2/3rds of the way done with the sections that are from the Spring issue then I can start working on the sections from the Summer issue. Not sure I will be all caught up by the time the Fall issue comes, but we will see. I have completed all the stitching for birthdays so far, so that will help, but the Sampler Guild of the Rockies Retreat is coming up (June 9) and that may offer some diversions!!
Good news - I still like it!
P.S. The strawberries are queen stitch which I had never done before. I have heard lots of groaning from folks that have done them though!! I did not mind them too much, not hard to to, but kind of tedious. They sure are a nice look though.
