Bits & Pieces

A few bits to catch you up on.

First our Saguaro bloomed quite a bit this year. This is the third or fourth year it has bloomed and this year has the most blossoms. Photo is from May 15.

My Roadrunner ANG's April Program was Star Spangled Santa by Janet Zickler Casey. This is my progress as of April 30.

I took a class on May 15 offered by my Quilting Bees Club and we made a tiny teddy bear! Arms & legs move too.

Happy Stitching and More!!

Tin Toppers & Star Spangled Santa

Today is the LAST DAY of my fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Please consider donating by clicking on this link: https://www.facebook.com/donate/1419319439406722/

It is a pledge to stitch during the month of April and post on the fundraising page. I posted some updates here as well. I finished the project I picked for the month before today (I posted about it here), and did a few small things since.

Both are tin toppers which I have to still add the cording around the edges. I plan to sell them at our next community EXPO on Oct. 24.

Yesterday I went to my Roadrunner ANG Chapter meeting and the project was Janet Zickler Casey's Star Spangled Santa to honor our 250th birthday. I was originally done in 2018, but our program person was able to get the canvas for us so it did not cost too much. I had most of the threads in my stash but did need to purchase a few.
I plan to start on it today.

Happy Stitching!!
