September TUSAL - Totally Useless Stitch A Long

Here is my September new moon TUSAL Ort report. First a photo of them in the jar followed by a photo of them out of the jar.

You see I was not a super busy stitcher this past month. Other things seemed to consume my time. That happens once in a while, but I have started back on my sampler and soon the holiday stitching will start so I need to get on the ball!

Olympic Stitching and Ort Report (TUSAL)

Last week I finished the last cross stitch piece I started during the Olympics. Here is the finished stitching, and I am not sure how it will be finish finished. I have some other hearts that I need to stitch and then I may put them all together in a wall hanging. So for now it will live in the drawer of things to be finish finished.

Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long (TUSAL)

Well today is the new moon for July, so here is my report. Near the top are the ribbon embroidery orts and the rest are from the sampler I am working on.

Band Sampler Update and TUSAL

 Since 99% of the orts in the jar are from the Sampler & Antique Needlework Quarterly Magazine's year long (well in three parts anyway) offering here is my progress so far:

 I am a third of the way done and now starting the next part which is in the current issue. That is about all for now, tomorrow or the next day I will be showing you how nice my Flower Patch looks framed.

I am a tad late (7 days) with the May Totally Useless Stitch A-Long (TUSAL) but I have been busy keeping Maddie safe after her surgery and just plain forgot. So I took a picture of my ORT jar this month with Miss Maddie and here it is:

Much of what you see here is this project called Flower Patch from Lila's Studio and a few other things I have posted about this month.

I am well on my way to getting this done, by June 9, but how to finish it??? Framed, pillow, wall hanging.....

Jan 2012 TUSAL

The full moon has arrived so here is my TUSAL for January! I am trying a new jar hoping you can see the orts better on this smooth sided one.

These are mostly from my stamped cross stitch table cloth that I posted about on my old blog before it was lost. I has peach flowers, some blue flowers and of course leaves and a green two tone bow. More on it next time I stitch on it.
