Christmas 2012

Now that the boxes have been opened and the contents revealed to the new owners, I can share with you on my blog.

I made drawstring bags for people this year using fabric that fit their likes. The first photo is of the gifts that went to Iowa. A purple one, two golf themed, peacock and Kokopeli. It was fun making the bags and very environmentally friendly too!
Inside the purple bag was this Christmas Tree pin.

The one below went to California. There is a music notes bag (the black one), batman, soccer and baseball.

I also made pretty gift card holders. Below shows two I made, closed.
Here is the musical one opened. I copied a page from my mom's sheet music. I used a page from Toy Land. I also made one with post card print paper for the mailman (but forgot to take a photo of it) and a few others too (all photo shy).

I crocheted my hubby a scarf using a WWII era pattern, but I used a prettier green than the olive drab suggested. Previously I posted about the doggie paw stocking I crocheted and it got me on a crochet bug. What can I make next???

This is the ornament I made for my college roommate. I got the outer form from Nordic Needle. You just place your stitched pieced inside.

That about covers it for now!!!!!
