Caroline's Mini Lights

This is a freebie chart from Rainbow Gallery (c) 2008 which I have had in my stash for a while. It is called Caroline's Mini Lights designed by Sally London for Rainbow Gallery. I checked the Rainbow Galler website Free Needlepoint charts section and could not find it there anymore.

It is meant to make individual ornaments, but I did not want to mess with dealing with small stuff,  so I made it look like a string of lights instead. It also called for metallic gold 18 count mono canvas which I did not have. But I did have an 18-count interlock with the gold threads, and I used that. I also used different threads than those listed. I did use the suggested stitches. This was a stash reduction project for sure! Each light is about 1.75" wide by 3" tall.

Now I just need to decide how I want to finish-finish it.

Happy Stitching!!
